Terms of Service

1. Using Vowl

Vowl provides a platform for version control, review, and collaboration on Excel spreadsheets. You must be at least 16 years old to use Vowl. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

You may not use Vowl to store or share illegal content, to abuse or harass others, or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.

2. Your content

You own the files and data you upload to Vowl. By uploading content, you grant Vowl a limited license to store, process, and display it solely for the purpose of operating the service. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any other purpose.

3. Beta service

Vowl is currently in beta. The service is provided as-is and may have bugs, downtime, or breaking changes. We appreciate your patience and feedback as we improve. Pricing and features may change when we exit beta.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from Vowl; use automated tools to scrape or overload our systems; impersonate others; or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account or system.

5. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are otherwise abusive. Upon termination, your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of liability

Vowl is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Vowl and its creators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of Vowl after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
